Marie-Krystel Gauthier, a molecular biologist specializing in forest pathology, will share the story of her family’s remarkable two-year adventure in Iqaluit. Accompanied by her husband, a physician working in Northern Canada, and their three young children, she experienced daily life in the Arctic through endless snow, cultural discoveries, unexpected challenges, and unforgettable moments.
Through a warm, engaging, and often humorous perspective, Marie-Krystel will reflect on how living in Canada’s North transformed her family’s routines, perspectives, and understanding of community and resilience.
