Eligibility Criteria

​People eligible to submit an application for a travel award must:

• Be a student or early‑career researcher (fewer than five years post‑PhD);

• Be a current NAFGS member;

• Present an oral or poster contribution at NAFGS 2026.

• Your submitted abstract for the conference;

• Estimated travel expenses.

Selection Criteria

The selection of travel award recipients is based on:

• The quality of the abstract;

• The estimate of anticipated travel expenses.

***Award amounts will vary according to expected travel costs and will cover at least the conference registration fee.
